The David Steps Ltd Success Story dates back in the early 90’s when the Company was originally formed by its current Directors, Nicos and Demetra Hartsiotis. The Company is actually the successor of a previously existing family business operating under the name of C.PH. DAVID & CO LTD, established in September 1937 and originally dealing with he import and trading of leather, textiles and associated machinery and materials for the footwear and garment industries in Cyprus.

However, at a certain point diversification was necessary, following the rapid collapse of both the above industries, as a result of the Gulf War in 1991 and the abolishment of all protection import duties for shoes and clothes into Cyprus, for the purposes of harmonization with EU Customs Legislation.

David Steps Ltd continues to be a privately owned Company and its core activities include retailing and distribution of branded footwear, garments, leather goods and related accessories.
